Greg Perry is an accomplished songwriter, producer, and singer, known for his contributions to the music industry. He is one of five brothers, alongside Dennis, Zachary, Leonard, and another sibling. Greg began his musical career as a keyboard player for Holland-Dozier-Holland's Invictus/Hot Wax Records and initially worked at the Chicago-based Chess Records label, collaborating with producer Billy Davis. He turned down a publishing deal with Motown, choosing instead to sign with Holland-Dozier-Holland's newly established Invictus label, where he teamed up with General Johnson and lyricist Angelo Bond. Together, they created many successful songs, recording primarily in Detroit at a converted movie theater on Grand River Avenue. Several musicians and arrangers from the label later achieved their own success. Greg Perry released two solo albums, starting with 'One For The Road' on Casablanca Records in 1975. His second album, 'Smokin', was released in 1977 under RCA and included the notable track 'How's Your Love Life Baby?', which remains one of his most recognized works.
