Groove Corporation, currently known as G. Corp, began as a production moniker for Electribe 101 records and remixes for other artists. After Electribe 101 disbanded, the members continued under the name Groove Corporation while one member pursued a solo career. They later formed their own label and released their debut album "Co-operation" through Six6/, which was acquired by Sony just before its release. Despite the album's brilliance, it received little support from the major label and went largely unnoticed. The group later transitioned to G. Corp and recorded a follow-up album titled "New Roots," which was not released until 2013. In the interim, a series of dub albums were produced. Currently, G. Corp operates as a duo, with Nordhoff and Cimarosti also being part of another project and producing under the G. Corp name.
