The Groove Corporation, currently known as G. Corp, originated as a production moniker for Electribe 101 records and remixes for other artists. After Electribe 101 disbanded, the members continued under the name Groove Corporation, while one member went solo. They formed their own label and released their debut album "Co-operation" for Six6/ - which was acquired by Sony just before the album's release. Unfortunately, the album, despite its brilliance, received little support from the new major label and sank almost without a trace. The group later transitioned to G. Corp and recorded a follow-up album titled "New Roots," which was not released until 2013. In the interim, they released a series of dub albums. Currently, G. Corp operates as a duo, with Nordhoff and Cimarosti also involved in producing the group.
