Guido and Maurizio de Angelis, born on December 22, 1944, and February 22, 1947, respectively, in Rocca di Papa near Rome, began their musical career in 1963. After successfully publishing an LP, they became arrangers, leading to a prolific career in the 1970s where they released numerous albums, often using different names to avoid market saturation. They are best known for their soundtrack work, particularly for the Terence Hill comedies, with their song "Dune Buggy" from the film Watch Out, We're Mad achieving chart success in Europe. Additionally, they composed original songs for Italian-dubbed anime such as Doraemon, Ashita no Joe, and Galaxy Express 999, as well as for European series like Around the World with Willy Fog. They also created the title song for the Sandokan series, based on the novel by E. Salgari, and are recognized for writing themes for Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds and Bobobobs.
