Guido De Angelis and Maurizio De Angelis are Italian musicians born in Rocca di Papa, near Rome, in 1944 and 1947, respectively. Their musical career began in 1963, leading to their roles as arrangers and the release of several successful albums. The De Angelis brothers became some of the most prolific Italian musicians of the 1970s, often using different names for various projects to avoid market saturation, with one of those names becoming their primary identification. They are best known for their soundtrack work, particularly for the Terence Hill comedies, and their score for the cult movie "Yor, the Hunter from the Future." Their song "Dune Buggy" from the film "Watch Out, We're Mad" achieved significant chart success in Europe. Additionally, they composed original songs for Italian-dubbed anime such as "Doraemon," "Ashita no Joe," and "Galaxy Express 999," as well as for European series like "Around the World with Willy Fog." They also created the title song for the "Sandokan" series, based on E. Salgari's novel, and are recognized for their themes for "Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds" and "Bobobobs."
