Guido and Maurizio De Angelis are Italian musicians born in Rocca di Papa, near Rome, with Guido born on December 22, 1944, and Maurizio on February 22, 1947. Their musical career began in 1963, and they initially gained recognition as arrangers. The brothers became highly prolific in the 1970s, often using different names for their projects to avoid saturating the market, with one of their most recognized names being Oliver Onions. While they released many standalone albums, they are best known for their soundtrack work, particularly for the 1983 cult film "Yor, the Hunter from the Future" and the comedies starring Terence Hill. Their song "Dune Buggy" from "Watch Out, We're Mad" achieved significant chart success in Europe. In addition to their film work, the De Angelis brothers composed original songs for Italian-dubbed anime such as "Doraemon," "Ashita no Joe," and "Galaxy Express 999," as well as for European series like "Around the World with Willy Fog." They also created the title song for the "Sandokan" series, based on the novel by E. Salgari, and are known for their themes for "Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds" and "Bobobobs."
