Guitar Jr. was a pseudonym used by an American blues singer and guitarist born on December 18, 1933, in Dubuisson, Louisiana, USA. He passed away on April 1, 2017, in Chicago, Illinois, USA. After embarking on a solo career, he adopted the moniker of Guitar Jr. In 1960, he moved to Chicago, Illinois, where he learned that another artist was already using that name, leading him to adopt an alternative stage name. He was the father of two children.
