Gus Vali was a Greek-American musician and conductor born in Queens, New York. He studied at the Manhattan School of Music and performed with several prominent big bands, including the Artie Shaw Band. Throughout his career, he orchestrated and produced numerous releases aimed at promoting the art of belly dancing. Gus Vali passed away on March 31, 2021, in New York City, New York, at the age of 92.
