Gustavo Cerati was born on August 11, 1959, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and became one of South America's most famous artists. He is best known as the lead singer of a prominent band during the 80s and early 90s. Following his time with the band, Gustavo pursued a successful solo career, releasing five studio albums from 1993 to 2009. In May 2010, he suffered a stroke during a concert in Venezuela and fought to recover for several years until his death on September 4, 2014, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Additionally, he worked as a DJ and producer with Plan V, Ocio, and Roken.
