Gyllene Tider is a Swedish pop group hailing from Halmstad and Harplinge, formed in 1976. They were active until 1985, with occasional reunions thereafter. Renowned as one of the best-selling bands in Sweden, Gyllene Tider achieved significant success in Scandinavia, particularly with their breakthrough hit "Flickorna på TV2" in 1980. Their music is characterized by influences from English and American power pop, often featuring the Farfisa organ, and their lyrics reflect life in a small town in Swedish. The band has reunited several times, with their latest reunion occurring in 2023.
