Hadouk Trio is a French jazz/world band formed in 1996 by musicians who initially created a duo album that evolved into a trio with the addition of percussionist Steve Shehan. The band's name is derived from the main instruments played by members Ehrlich and Malherbe: the Hajouj and the Doudouk. Hadouk Trio achieved significant success both in France and internationally, receiving the "Victoires du Jazz" award in 2007. They have performed extensively across various countries, including Russia, Armenia, Spain, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Brazil, the USA, Canada, Turkey, West Africa, England, and India. In 2013, Steve Shehan left the group, and the band continued with a new line-up.
