Hal McKusick was an American jazz alto saxophonist, clarinetist, and flutist, born on June 1, 1924, in Medford, Massachusetts. He passed away on April 10, 2012, in Sag Harbor, New York. Throughout his career, Hal worked in various big bands from 1943 to 1949. He recorded nine albums as a leader between 1955 and 1958.
