Halo, also known as Brian Varga, has been immersed in dance music since he landed his first job at Chicago's Hip House Records at just 9 years old. He transitioned into DJing at the age of 12, quickly becoming a favorite in Chicago's club scene, despite his young age. As the Midwest rave scene began to lose its allure, Halo turned to music production as a means of connecting with a broader audience and escaping the intensity of Chicago. His role as A&R for Moody Records allowed him to collaborate with respected producers across the United States. A significant partnership with Hipp-e led to the formation of the H-Foundation, and their performances at renowned venues like Fabric London, Turbo Toronto, and Pacha Buenos Aires prompted clubbers worldwide to rethink their musical preferences. Halo's experiences at raves in New Zealand, Montreal, Croatia, Spain, Brazil, and throughout the U.S. pushed him to balance his artistic depth with the energetic demands of the crowd. This journey resulted in influential releases, including "Future" on Siesta and a remix of Sirus' "Eye For An Eye" on NRK, inspiring a new generation of producers and DJs. Following a busy period of international DJ tours, Halo is now channeling his inspiration into his own label, Bluem, with pre-release orders for his debut solo project surpassing previous records from the West Coast.
