Hammerhead is a noise rock trio that originated in Moorhead, MN, in 1990. The band was formed by Paul Sanders (guitar/vocals), Paul Erickson (bass/vocals), and Jeff Mooridian Jr. (drums). They later moved to Minneapolis and disbanded in 1996 when Sanders left the group. Following the breakup, Erickson and Mooridian continued their musical journey as part of a different project, while Sanders went on to create More RAM. In 2010, Hammerhead reunited for two shows, one at the AmRep 25th Anniversary and another at Death By Audio in Brooklyn, NY. They also released an EP of new material titled "Memory Hole." The band continues to record and release new music.
