Hank Levine is an American composer, conductor, arranger, and musical director with over four decades of experience in the music industry. Born in June 1927 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was based in California during the early 1960s, where he was associated with the Dolton label. In late 1974, he co-founded International Record Distributing Associates (IRDA) in Nashville with partner Mike Shepherd. Six years later, he sold his interest in the company to Shepherd and returned to the Los Angeles area. Hank Levine should not be confused with the British jazz trumpeter.
