Happy the Man is an American progressive rock band formed in 1973 in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The band disbanded in 1979 and later reformed in 2000. They released three albums between 1977 and 1983, with the third album recorded in 1979 but released in 1983. After a long hiatus, Happy the Man released a new album in 2004, featuring a new drummer and an additional keyboardist.
