Har Mar Superstar, the stage name of Sean Tillmann, is an American entertainer from Minneapolis, Minnesota. With a career spanning over 25 years, Tillmann has performed concerts on five continents and released six albums under the Har Mar Superstar moniker, alongside numerous other albums and side projects, including Sean Na Na, Calvin Krime, Gayngs, and Neon Neon. In 2020, he released his first album with his new band, Heart Bones, co-writing with Sabrina Ellis of A Giant Dog and Sweet Spirit. Tillmann is known for his high-energy live performances that often leave him sweat-soaked and scantily clad. His dynamic stage presence and impressive vocal abilities have led him to tour with notable acts such as The Strokes, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Sia, Gossip, Lizzo, The Afghan Whigs, and Atom and His Package. Initially performing with just a microphone and a mini-disc player, Tillmann built a fan base through his engaging performances. Har Mar Superstar has since evolved into a seven-piece soul review that showcases the greatest hits of Tillmann’s imagination.
