Harald Grosskopf is a German drummer, keyboard player, and composer, born on October 23, 1949, in Hildesheim, Germany. He became involved with musicians from a later Krautrock band in 1970 and relocated to Mönchengladbach, where he joined the predecessor of Wallenstein, known as "Blitzkrieg." The band was renamed to "Wallenstein" the same year, and in 1972, they recorded their first album. Grosskopf remained with the band until 1975, contributing to four album recordings, but left due to boredom with the band's music. In the early 1980s, he joined a new project and became part of a German New Wave band. During this time, he also pursued a solo career and began regularly playing synthesizers and keyboards. He worked as a studio musician on numerous German productions throughout the 1980s. In the 1990s, Grosskopf founded several Techno projects, and in the 2000s, he composed and performed film scores.
