Harlem Gem is a musical duo from Huddersfield, consisting of Richmond Quarshie, also known as Richy Gem, and Lloyd Charles, referred to as Lloydie Gem. Richy is the songwriter, arranger, musician, and producer, while Lloydie takes on the role of lead vocalist. The two artists met while working on various projects but formed a solid partnership in 1989. They are recognized for their contributions to the Reggae, Soul, and RnB genres.
