Harpo, born on April 5, 1950, in Bandhagen (now part of Vantör, Stockholm), Sweden, is a Swedish pop singer and songwriter. He gained popularity in Sweden and across Europe during the 1970s, becoming best known for his worldwide hits "Moviestar" (1975) and "Horoscope" (1976). Harpo continued his career in the music industry into the 2000s, releasing an album of new material in 2005 and touring extensively. He remains popular in Germany, where he has been touring since 2007.
