Harry Nilsson, born on June 15, 1941, in Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York City, was an American singer, piano player, songwriter, and actor. He recorded primarily under his stage name, Nilsson, and was a Grammy-awarded artist. He passed away on January 15, 1994, in Agoura Hills, California. His third album, "Aerial Ballet," is named after the art form that his paternal grandparents from Sweden, who immigrated to the USA, performed at circuses.
