Harvey & The Seven Sounds is a soul band formed in 1961 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The original lineup included a guitarist, Ray Armstead, Bill Purtie, a saxophonist, and Bill Stonewall. In 1975, the lineup featured a guitarist, a saxophonist who also played flute and provided vocals, a trumpeter who also sang, E.L. Farrington on bass and vocals, a drummer, and a keyboardist. The band recorded singles for various labels between 1967 and 1970.
