Hawk on Flight is a Swedish jazz group that was formed in 1976 by Matz Nilsson, Haakon Graf, Ulf Wakenius, and Niels Nordin. Known as one of the most significant fusion groups in Sweden, they have drawn comparisons to renowned artists such as Miles Davis and Weather Report. The group is particularly recognized for Matz Nilsson's fretless electric bass and, in recent years, Ove Ingemarsson's tenor saxophone and EWI. After a hiatus in 1996, the group reunited in 2006.
