Headless Chickens was a New Zealand band that emerged in the late 1980s and gained prominence in the 1990s. They evolved from the group Children's Hour and became the most successful local act signed to their label, achieving a double platinum album and a number one single with "George," which is notable for being Flying Nun's only number one hit. The band disbanded in 1998.
