Heart is a rock group that originated in Seattle in 1967, initially formed as "The Army" by bassist Steve Fossen, guitarist Roger Fisher, guitarist and lead vocalist Don Wilhelm, and drummer Ray Schaefer. The band underwent several name changes, first becoming White Heart, then Hocus Pocus shortly before Ann Wilson joined in 1970, and finally settling on the name Heart in 1972. Nancy Wilson joined the group after auditioning in 1974. The current members include Ann Wilson, Nancy Wilson, Craig Bartock, Andy Stoller, Dan Walker, Ryan Waters, and Denny Fongheiser.
