Heartworms is a noise pop band based in Washington, D.C., formed in 1994. The band consists of vocalist/guitarist Archie Moore, a former member of Velocity Girl, and his girlfriend, vocalist/bassist Trisha Roy, who is also in Belmondo. They are joined by a rotating cast of supporting players, including Chisel drummer Chris Norborg and Chip Porter from Sabine. Heartworms released their first single, "Thanks for the Headache," on the Darla label in 1994, followed by their debut LP, Space Escapade, in 1995, and the Enemies EP in 1996.
