Heaven 17 is a band formed as a side project of the British Electric Foundation (B.E.F.), a production company established by former members after their departure from another group in 1980. They are known for hit singles such as "Temptation" and "Let Me Go." The name "Heaven 17" is inspired by the film "A Clockwork Orange," where it is mentioned as one of the hip bands in a record store scene.
