Heavy Joker was a Danish jazz-rock fusion group formed in 1975. Initially a side project for its members, the group featured a keyboard player and vibraphonist, the son of a notable figure, who was the leading creative force on their debut album in 1976. However, he was replaced by another musician for their second album in 1978, while Michael Bruun was substituted by a saxophone player. The band disbanded in 1978, after which Bruun and Siversten joined another group along with two members who had come from a different jazz-rock fusion ensemble.
