Heinz Kiessling was a German pianist, composer, conductor, arranger, producer, and music publisher. Born on March 11, 1926, in Nuremberg, Germany, he passed away on December 27, 2003, in Starnberg, Germany. Kiessling began his career as a pianist and arranger, working for SWF in Baden-Baden. In the early 1960s, he arranged and conducted several albums with a southern flair for large string orchestras in the USA. In 1964, he co-founded a music publishing company with Hans Gerig. He also co-founded a library in the early 1970s with his future wife, a former singer. Kiessling was particularly known for his instrumental works and compositions for television, including music for shows with various producers. His composition "Temptation Sensation" (also known as "Haute Couture") serves as the theme tune for the live-action sitcom "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia."
