Heleno was an Argentine pop singer born in Buenos Aires in 1941. He gained fame with his first hit, "La chica de la boutique," released in 1971. The album featuring this song was distributed by RCA in Spain and several Latin American countries, selling over 400,000 units and earning him his first Gold Record. In late 1973, he released the album "No son palabritas," which achieved sales of over 700,000 units. Additionally, the song "No son palabritas" was recorded in Portuguese for the Brazilian market, as well as in French and German. Heleno passed away in 2024.
