Henry Flynt, born in 1940 in North Carolina, is an American experimental violinist and philosopher. He created much of his music during the 1960s to the 1980s. His work has been reissued, which helped introduce him to a larger American audience. Additionally, he was a member of the Velvet Underground for a brief period.
