Henry Rollins, born on February 13, 1961, in Washington, D.C., USA, is an American rock singer, actor, author, poet, and television and radio host. He began his music career as a vocalist for S.O.A. and later joined Black Flag. After Black Flag disbanded, Rollins formed The Rollins Band, which he led until he stepped away from music in 2006. He hosts a weekly radio show on KCRW in Santa Monica, California, and is a regular columnist for LA Weekly and Rolling Stone Australia. Additionally, Rollins has his own record label and co-founded another in the mid-1990s.
