Herb Remington was a talented steel guitarist known for his contributions to the Texas music scene. Born on June 9, 1926, in Indiana, he later moved to Houston, Texas, where he became well-known for his work in country and Western swing music, as well as Hawaiian music. Remington toured with the Texas Playboys and led the band The Swingfield Playboys in Houston. He passed away on October 27, 2018.
