Hermanas Montoya is a Mexican American vocal ensemble that was formed in 1948 as a quartet consisting of sisters Mercedes, Ofelia, Emilia, and Esther. They gained prominence by touring in 1950 with renowned musician Dámaso Pérez Prado. Mercedes departed from the group in 1950, followed by Emilia in 1957. After these changes, Esther and Ofelia continued to perform as a duo until 1969.
