Hetty Koes Endang is an Indonesian kroncong singer born on August 6, 1957. She gained recognition for her 1977 duet with Ajie Bandi, "Damai Tapi Gersang," which became the first Indonesian song to win an award in Tokyo. In 2009, Rolling Stone Indonesia selected the song as one of the best Indonesian songs of all time.
