The High-Fly Orchestra, founded in 2005 in Munich, Germany, by Jerker Kluge and Florian Riedl, aims to create music that captures the essence of the classic jazz records from the Blue Note era while being influenced by contemporary styles. The ensemble features young musicians: Florian Riedl on saxophone and flute, Johannes Herrlich on trombone, Jo Junghanns on piano, Jerker Kluge on bass, Hajo von Hadln on drums, and Norbert Küpper on percussion.
