Hi-Gloss is an American music project that was created in 1981. The group's most successful song, "You'll Never Know," was written and arranged by Giuliano Salerni, who also assembled a team of session musicians to produce successful tracks. The song featured a sumptuous solo voice and included future star backup vocals. "You'll Never Know" gained popularity among club DJs and in the soul-friendly sections of the music press, staying in the Top 20 for four consecutive weeks and reaching position #12. In the fall of 1981, Hi-Gloss released their album, which included the less successful single "I'm Totally Yours."
