Hibari Misora, born on May 29, 1937, in Yokohama, Japan, was a renowned Japanese singer known for her contributions to Enka and various other musical styles. She passed away on June 24, 1989. Posthumously, she became the first woman to receive the Japanese national government's People's Honor Award.
