Hielo Ardiente is a Latin Funk Psych band from El Salvador, founded in 1967 by Guillermo "Willy" Chaves (vocals/bass), Armando Martínez (drums), Tomás “Chele” Villatoro (piano/keyboards), and Pablo Chávez (guitar). The band was originally known as "Grupo San Miguel" before Julio Paiz later joined as the singer.
