Hieroglyphics is a US indie hip-hop collective based in Oakland, California. The group consists of members Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, Casual, Pep Love, Domino, DJ Toure, and all four members of Souls of Mischief. Del, A-Plus, Tajai, and Opio grew up in close proximity to Touré, who attended elementary school with Del. The Hieroglyphics crew was officially formed by Del in the late 1980s. Former members include Jay-Biz, Mike P, Kwam, Mike G, and Snupe.
