The Hit Parade is a band that originated in London in 1983, formed by Julian Henry, with the assistance of Raymond Watts and drummer Matt Moffatt. They established their own label, JSH Records, to facilitate their releases, taking a DIY approach to their music. Over the years, they released several 7" singles and three LPs before signing with Sarah Records in the 1990s. The band featured guest appearances from Cath Carroll of Miaow on the track "I Get So Sentimental" and Amelia Fletcher of Talulah Gosh, Heavenly, and Marine Research on the version of "Christmas Tears." In 2014, The Hit Parade released 'Cornish Pop Songs' and have since accumulated a total of 14 singles and seven LPs.
