Horace Andy, born Horace Keith Hinds on February 19, 1951, in Kingston, Jamaica, is a roots reggae songwriter and singer renowned for his distinctive vocals. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, he recorded for numerous Jamaican producers and labels. He gained mainstream recognition through his collaborations with a Bristol-based trip hop band.
