Hossam Ramzy was an Egyptian percussionist, musician, and composer born on December 15, 1953, in Cairo, Egypt. He passed away on September 10, 2019. Throughout his career, he collaborated with numerous international artists, including the Gipsy Kings, Peter Gabriel, Pino Daniele, ex-Led Zeppelin members Page and Plant, Anne Dudley, Boy George, Luciano Pavarotti, and more recently, Jay Z.
