Marius Houschyar Friedrich, known professionally as Houschyar, is an artist, producer, and music selector based in Istanbul, Turkey. Originally from southern Germany, he moved to Dresden to study Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts Dresden under Carsten Nicolai, where he organized music events and created light and video installations. His quest for identity and truth has led him to various cities, including Prague and Bucharest, before settling in Istanbul. Immersing himself in his surroundings, he actively contributes to the cultural landscape and creates music in his studio. Houschyar's artistic journey encompasses a diverse range of genres, reflecting his continuous evolution. In addition to music, he pursues his passion for graphic design, crafting illustrations and designs for record covers and logos.
