Howard Johnson (August 7, 1941 – January 11, 2021) was an American musician from Montgomery, Alabama. He was primarily known for his work with the tuba and baritone saxophone, but he also played the bass clarinet, other reed instruments, cornet, and penny whistle. He passed away in New York City. Please note that he should not be confused with a swing alto saxophonist of the same name.
