Human Puppets, also known as 010, were formed in 2004 by two friends involved in the underground Greek scene. Inspired by the Dada movement and embracing a D.I.Y. philosophy, they fused analogue sounds with tapes, toys, noises, and unique visuals. At the time, Greek labels showed little interest in their experimental approach, but their friends and Jorg, who believed in their vision, helped release their material. They released their EP in 2005, followed by an LP in 2006, and a self-released single in 2010 under 5th Floor Entertainment, along with another LP in 2011. Their music featured in numerous compilations, gaining popularity and inspiring other artists. Known for their captivating live performances, Human Puppets exclusively used analogue synths and machines, persevering through challenges and trends. The duo parted ways in 2012, mainly due to distance.
