Human Resource is a Dutch hardcore/gabber group formed in 1990 by Robert Mahu and Johan van Beek, hailing from Ridderkerk, The Netherlands. The lineup later expanded to include keyboardists Jasper Drexhage and Guido Pernet, who also served as an MC, along with rapper Larenzo Nash, a former professional basketball player. In 1992, Van Beek departed from the group without a replacement. Shortly after, rapper Marvin Tholen joined but left in 1995. Following Drexhage's exit due to dissatisfaction with the band's evolving hardcore sound, Sander Scheurwater stepped in as his replacement. The group disbanded at the end of the 1990s. In 2004, Guido Pernet reformed Human Resource, bringing in Zenon Zevenbergen as the new MC and Maurice Steenbergen. However, Zevenbergen left shortly after a tour in 2005. That same year, the band introduced a new hardcore-gabber music festival.
