Hyenas in the Desert is a Hip Hop group based in Long Island, NY. They made history as the first group to release material under Chuck D's imprint, SLAM Jamz. Their debut EP, "Die Laughing," received positive reviews, earning a 5/5 from HHC and a 4/5 from Rolling Stone. Despite this acclaim, a full-length LP never materialized. Following the group's initial success, lead rapper Kendo pursued his own musical endeavors, blending rap, rock, and soul, while continuing to work with SLAM Jamz.
