Hypnolove is a French electro-pop band based in Toulouse and Berlin, formed by Nicolas (aka Chiquinho) on vocals and keys, Thierry on vocals, chords, and drums, and Henning on guitar and bass. The trio came together when Thierry expressed his desire to start a band, leading to their collaboration. They released their debut house EP under the name "Hypno-love" in 1998 on a label created specifically for this purpose. This release featured the original version of their song "Eurolove," which was later reworked by Jacques Lu Cont for his 2003 Fabric mix and appeared on Hypnolove's debut album in 2006. The group signed with Record Makers after gaining recognition from DJs worldwide and contributing to various compilation albums. Their debut album, "Eurolove," released in 2006, showcased a more mature songwriting approach, incorporating latin influences and lyrics in multiple languages, while still reflecting their electronic, italo disco, '80s pop, and new wave roots. The album included their hit song "Mademoiselle."
