I Start Counting was an electronic music duo formed in London in 1982 by David Baker and Simon Leonard. In 1990, they recorded new material that differed significantly from their earlier electropop recordings, leading them to release this new dance/techno style under a different name. In the mid-90s, they changed their name again for a project influenced by a certain genre.
